Quality Matters: Lessons from a 42 year old Stanley Thermos
Last Sunday, my wife Dicle shared a picture of a water bottle with me. Initially, I went berserk, thinking we had lost another one of our children’s bottles and needed to buy a new one, again! However, she quickly clarified that this was a Stanley thermos from the early 1980s, purchased by her grandmother during their time in Cyprus.
This 42-year-old Stanley thermos – approximately the same age as me – taught me an invaluable lesson: quality always lasts and pays off in the long term.
